The Tannfe is coming! The Tannfe is coming!

Marshall's front tooth has been loose for a looooonngggg time.  Like 6 months.  It seems like this is the way with all of his teeth.

And it's been a bit snaggle tooth for a few weeks.  So two nights ago Will told him that he heard that in Norway Tuesday is Two for Tooth Tuesday, meaning you get double the reward.

He really knows how to motivate a boy.

We figured we'd better read about the Norwegian Tooth fairy to find out if we needed to do anything different for her.  You know.  Because she's Norwegian.

Turns out, we did.  Who knew?

The tooth fairy is called the Tannfe in Norway.  And you are supposed to put your tooth in a glass of water and put it on a window sill.  The Tannfe takes the tooth and replaces it with coins.
You should have seen Marshall trying to fish out his two 20 kroner coins from the glass the next morning.

(By the way, we were not performing this ritual in the afternoon.  This is about 8 o'clock at night.  Blackout shades necessary. Also, 40 kroner is just about 7 bucks.  The exchange rate definitely worked in Marshall's favor.)
