Internationally Minded

Today's before school car conversation....

Josie: Quick! We better shut the car doors in case there are any zombies!

Marshall:  Josie, there aren't any zombies! They aren't real!

Josie: Well, if there were zombies here, we could just run to the airport, and jump on a plane, and go to a new city, and learn a new language.

My new curriculum talks a lot about the importance of developing internationally minded students.  In fact it's the basis of the whole school of thought.  I think we are well on our way to doing that.  My little girl sees the world as a place to explore... a place where she can go anywhere and do anything... a place  where she can learn what she needs to communicate and interact wherever she goes.....a place where escaping zombies is a simple plane ride away.
